Summer Trip 2026 Day 22

There’s not a lot to say about today, just 34 miles out and about running a couple of errands but mostly staying in my room and dry. Columbus had about 2″ of rain yesterday, an inch today, and is expecting another 2″ tonight!

I changed my charging plan somewhat and filled up at EVgo in Hilliard OH (in a Target parking lot) after the morning’s errands. This location has two chargers with two CCS1 plugs each and one charger with two NACS plugs. By the time I left, each charger had one occupant. I charged from 29-80% in 16 minutes, adding 44.822 kWh for $24.30. EVgo is expensive, but it was the most convenient spot for me as it’s the closest option to where I’m staying.

I’ll be leaving in the morning with 74% SOC (state of charge) and will charge three times, all at Tesla Superchargers I’ve visited on other trips, on my way to Bloomsburg PA where I’m staying at a hotel that offers free overnight charging (yay!).
