Summer 2019 Road Trip, Day 14

I covered a familiar route today, leaving Cleveland in the morning and traveling across the Southern Tier of NY State, ending the day in Ithaca. It’s been years since I’ve been to Ithaca and the traffic is considerably worse than I remembered … although, that last time was right after a major snow storm dumped 2’ of snow on the area!

Tonight’s hotel is a Courtyard, a bit more expensive than I would normally go for, but I knew I’d want to enjoy a pleasant evening and morning before starting the final leg of this journey.

Tomorrow, I’ll have a lazy morning followed by a backroads drive to either Hyde Park or Poughkeepsie for Second Meal™️, and continuing on back roads to home. Then I have Sunday to rest before Monday hits and I need to get back into work mode. The question is, how quickly will I forget that I ever was on vacation?!?
