The last day of this trip is done and it included the heaviest traffic of the entire trip — the last hour of the drive took closer to two hours because of heavy traffic and road construction. Ugh.

I used 580kWh of electricity on the drive, but thanks to free overnight charging all but one night plus free charging at all but one charger on the highway, I only spent $47.29 on “gas.” Along the way, I saw one other car the same model as mine but several of the IONIQ 5.

What a great car this is for trips, and I have rather less range anxiety now that I’ve had some experience with the ins and outs of both charging and planning.
