Summer Trip 2022 Day 26
Summer Trip Day 26
It was a dismal, cloudy morning that looked like rain, so I didn’t do anything interesting. Plus, I discovered that all the cool places to go on the Lake Michigan shore west of here are state parks and they require day passes. Even the county parks along the shore west of here charge for parking.
Eventually, I did head to a large antiques store that I didn’t explore last year and then went north to Cedar Springs for a German-inspired brewpub.

Cedar Springs is definitely a small town, but it’s clean and there’s even some public artwork right next to the brewery’s parking lot.

There was more, but these were the ones close to my car 😉
As you can see, by this point in the day the skies were mostly clear. That is quite a change from the morning.
Tomorrow is the first of my two-day drive back home to Massachusetts, ending in Madison OH, east of Cleveland. It’s hard to believe there are only two days left in this trip; it feels like there should be at least another week, but the calendar doesn’t (usually) lie.
