Summer 2022 Day 3

Today was a rest day in Columbus OH so the only driving was around this area, and even that wasn’t a lot:

This was certainly a beautiful day! Clouds eventually came in this afternoon, but this morning view from my room was what the sky looked like for most the day:

Tomorrow will start off with a walk on my favorite local trail, around Antrim Lake, then I’ll begin the serious journey West with a drive to Effingham IL. I’m very happy I took this day to fully relax and prepare for the rest of the journey, but am also looking forward to pressing on even though it’s odd to think that by mid-day Monday I’ll be several thousand feet higher than I am now.
