2019 Summer Road Trip, Day 10

I really did intend to take some photos along the way today, but I didn’t. Today was a leisurely day on secondary roads from Peoria IL to Saugatuck MI, but honestly, there just wasn’t much of anything worth stopping to take a picture of!

On the other hand, I’m staying for three nights at an amazing little hotel. It only has 39 rooms, but it is booked full. It’s right on the shore of Lake Michigan south of Saugatuck, MI, and I’m looking forward to a couple of days of real relaxation.

The first photo is from the chairs right outside my room and the rest are taken inside the room. There will be more photos to come as there are sitting areas right down at the lakeside as well as a bike trail along the shore! And I’ll probably get out and explore the area as well while I’m here, depending on what I feel like doing and how quickly I tire of just sitting and reading 🙂
