2018 Road Trip, Day 11, Part 1

I assume I’ll have to do a two-parter again today also as there are a lot of pictures to share!

Today was an Upper Peninsula day, beginning with a drive to the Point Iroquois Lighthouse, a 65-foot high light on the shore of Lake Superior. The visit begin with some marvelous flowers and a boardwalk saunter down to the shoreline (and the other shore that’s visible in one of the photos is Canada):

I did climb up to the top of the lighthouse but it wasn’t high enough for the photos from there to be significantly better than those from the ground.
